Summary

One of 15 microfilm reels filmed for the Manchester City Library in 2015, Roll 13 includes typed and handwritten materials (some from published sources), including copies of newsclippings and drawings from published sources. Much of the material is in draft form; there are also scraps of paper with notes. This reel also provides many lists and directories, especially concerning Manchester, e.g. druggists, dentists, gymnasiums, libraries, hotels, hospitals and asylums, theaters, churches, unions, clubs, schools, etc. There is a section in Manchester General Inf. #2, entitled "Franco-American short stories from personal interviews", but the material consists of lyrics and music for several French songs. The section on Epitaphs and Gravestones contains drawings of gravestone art from Hanover. Several sections contain extensive excerpts from published town histories ons everal subjects. There are several essays by NH WPA writers, including Gladys Duhaime, Lucien Jutras, Victoria Langlois, Milton F. Crowell, and others
