- One of 15 microfilm reels filmed for the Manchester City Library in 2015, Roll 5 includes typed and handwritten materials (some from published sources), including copies of newsclippings and drawings from published sources. Much of the material is in draft form; there are also scraps of paper with notes. Included are interviews; checklists of craftspeople; great detail on sampler making, and descriptions of samplers in NH, with the names and ages of their makers, current owners and locations; essays on several subjects. Essays , some in draft form, include: "Proposed project for writing a book on New Hampshire handicrafts" (6 p.) ; "Littleton's famed stereopticans" by Ola G. Veazie (9 p.) ;"Stoneworkers of the twentienth century : notes on interviews", by H. Blais; "History of the settlement of Londonderry by the Scotch-Irish" by Wm. Thompson (6 p.); Shakers in New Hampshire" by Florence Crosby (approx. 45 p.); "Notes on a trip to Adams Point and interview with Capt. Adams of gundalow fame" by J. H. Blais (3 p.); New Hampshire stories, volume 1: Down to the sea", compiled by Harry E. Flanders (39 p.); several essays on silversmithing by Luna C. Osburn, including: "The Drowne family - silversmiths", (8 p.); "Early N.H. silversmiths" ; "The illusive silversmith of Portsmouth" (3 p.)
